TOKYO: A hospital in Japan apologized for admitting a corona patient to 120 hospitals.
One hundred and twenty hospitals in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, refused to admit a patient suffering from a serious infection with the corona virus due to lack of empty beds, as detailed.
Japan’s state broadcaster reported that a 50-year-old man living in the Tokyo metropolitan area had contracted corona earlier this month and was receiving treatment at home, but then the patient’s condition worsened and he began to breathe. I was having a hard time.
According to the report, the health staff tried their best to get the patient into the hospital for 5 hours, however, there was no empty bed available in any of the hospitals.
The patient was eventually admitted to Nippon Medical College Hospital in Tokyo for treatment. According to the report, the increasing number of Krona patients in Japan is generating concern in the healthcare sector.
