Januzaj signs for Turkish side Basaksehir

Adnan Januzaj he is already a new player Istanbul Basaksehir, team of the First Division of Turkish football. The Belgian did not have minutes under Sampaoli’s hand and, after a winter transfer window where he has sought to leave at all costs, he has managed to leave the Sevilla entity. However, his experience in the Ottoman country will be very short, since in the summer he will be back in the capital of Andalusia. Januzaj signs with Basaksehir until June of this year, for which he has left on loan.

Sevilla, after several failed attempts, has been able to ‘place’ Januzaj in another club. The people of Seville did not want the Belgian to continue for another minute in Nervión and they have finally been able to give him a start. A spell at Sevilla FC that has been talked about more for things off the pitch than for what the Belgian has been able to do on it. He was already landing in the Andalusian capital with an injury, which prevented him from making his debut until several weeks had passed. To make matters worse, the arrival of Jorge Sampaoli to replace Lopetegui was the shot so that Januzaj did not have a single minute in months. It is then when the player “reveals” and asks for him to leave.

The huge devaluation of Adnan Januzaj

Who was going to tell the young Belgian, who came out of the Manchester United academy and dazzled everyone in the English city, that years later he would end up like this. After going through the red devils or being key in Real Sociedad to get European positions, Januzaj signed for Sevilla. Since signing him, he has accumulated a staggering 126 minutes in official matches. Injuries also have an influence, but the devaluation of the Belgian after the transfer to Sevilla is notable.
