Janhvi Kapoor just made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, and everyone’s talking about it. The Bollywood actress stunned on the red carpet in a gorgeous Tarun Tahiliani gown that made her look like a princess. But what’s even more interesting is that her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya’s mom, Smriti Shinde, is totally loving her look.
Smriti shared Janhvi’s pic and wrote, “Congratulations on your fantastic debut, Jaanu. Keep doing better and better!” It’s clear that Janhvi has already won over her would-be mother-in-law’s heart. And this isn’t the first time we’ve seen their special bond – remember when Janhvi was hospitalized with food poisoning last July? Smriti stayed with her at the hospital all night.
Janhvi’s performance in the film “Homebound” also got a standing ovation at Cannes. She starred alongside Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa in the movie directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. It’s clear that Janhvi is not just a pretty face – she’s got talent too.
