Placed in isolation

The Minister of Health was next to the Head of State at several events, including a meeting on Monday with Boris Johnson, who was filmed shaking his hand. The British Prime Minister has since tested negative, we learned on Wednesday.

The delegation has since returned to Brazil but Marcelo Queiroga “will remain in the United States during the period of isolation,” the statement said. Vaccinated, the 55-year-old minister “is doing well” according to the official report. In the evening, he indicated on Twitter that he “will continue to take firm measures to deal with the pandemic” in his country while respecting the health protocol.
