WELLINGTON: New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has tested positive for the corona virus, her husband and 3-year-old daughter are also suffering from code 19 and are in quarantine.
According to the international website, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s code 19 test came positive.
“Unfortunately, despite all the security measures, my test came back positive,” Jacinda posted a picture of her code test on the social networking site Instagram.
She wrote that her husband and 3-year-old daughter are also suffering from code 19 and are in quarantine.
Kiwi officials say Jacinda Arden will not be able to attend the budget session on Monday after testing positive, and travel arrangements for the US trade mission will not be affected.
According to authorities, Jacinda Ardern had quarantined herself as soon as the symptoms appeared.
