Jacinda Ardern insults an MP, believing her microphone is off

“What an arrogant asshole! Believing her microphone was off, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern insulted an opposition MP during a government question session, reports BFM TV. David Seymour had just asked her to “give an example of a time when she made a mistake, apologized and fixed it.” Jacinda Ardern answered him, then said her unfortunate sentence as she sat down again.

David Seymour clarified that the head of government then apologized to him by SMS. “At the end of the day, it’s not the end of the world,” he explained to the journalists who questioned him.
