The Memphis Grizzlies announced that Ja Morant will be available to play in Game 3 of the first round series of the NBA Western Conference playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers. The match is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 p.m. ET at the Crypto.com Arena.
Morant missed the second game of the series due to a soft tissue injury in the right hand who suffered after a spectacular fall. The 23-year-old point guard registered 18 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and six turnovers after playing in 30:07 minutes of Game 1.
At the moment, both the Grizzlies and the Lakers have one win each.
During the two-time All-Star’s absence, point guard Tyus Jones took charge of the Grizzlies attack and guided his team to victory by a score of 103-93. The Duke graduate recorded a game of 10 points, eight assists, three rebounds, one steal and just one turnover.

Ja Morant’s numbers in the 2022-23 NBA season
Morant cemented his place as an NBA star by earning his second All-Star Game invitation and finished the year averaging 26.2 points, 8.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds. However, his campaign was marred by an eight-game suspension after posing with a firearm in a social media video.
During the regular season, the Grizzlies played 21 games, between injuries and a suspension, without Morant in which they had a record of 10 wins and 11 losses.
