Italy bubbled with extreme heat, heat wave alert issued

Different countries of the world are currently suffering from the effects of climate change, many countries are currently facing heavy rains and floods, while on the other hand, citizens are under the grip of extreme heat.

According to a foreign news agency, a severe heat wave was seen in Europe from the anti-cyclone system Cerberus coming from the Sahara desert, which made tourists uncomfortable.

The mercury is likely to reach 45 degrees in Italy, in view of which the weather forecast has issued a heat wave red alert in 8 major cities of Italy.

One person died while working in Italy in sweltering heat of 40 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said, with temperatures expected to reach 45 degrees in Italy’s two largest islands, Sicily and Sardinia.

On the other hand, there is a record-breaking heat in the Chinese city of Shanghai, the meteorological department has issued an orange alert, the mercury has gone up to 37 degrees for the first time this year.

Due to climate change, the American states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Vermont, including Pakistan, India, Japan, Spain, are also facing flooding after heavy rains.

Experts say that due to climate change, hot weather is causing heavy rains.
