Israel Strikes Iran, Killing 70, Injuring 300, as Trump Warns of Nuclear Deal Consequences

Tensions in the Middle East have reached a boiling point. Israel launched a massive air strike on Iran, killing at least 70 people and injuring over 300. The attack targeted multiple cities, including Natanz, home to a key uranium enrichment plant.

Among the dead are high-ranking military officials and nuclear scientists. They include General Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and General Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s top military commander. Two prominent nuclear scientists, Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi and Freydoon Abbasi, also lost their lives.

The Israeli military deployed over 200 fighter jets to hit more than 100 targets across Iran. The operation is seen as a major blow to Iran’s nuclear program. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue the operation as long as necessary, warning that Iran would respond “with great force.”

The US has denied any involvement in the attack. Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged Iran not to retaliate against US interests in the region. However, former President Donald Trump warned Iran to accept the US nuclear deal or face severe consequences. In a statement on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said Iran must accept the deal before it’s too late, warning that the next attack would be even more devastating.

Iran has vowed to respond to the attack, with its leaders promising a strong retaliation. The situation remains volatile, with the international community watching closely to see how events will unfold. The attack has raised concerns about the escalating tensions in the region and the potential for a wider conflict.
