Israel Confirms Strike on Iranian TV Station in Tehran

Israel confirms it attacked an Iranian TV station in Tehran. The military says it was used for military purposes. Several employees were hurt.

This happened after Israel warned people to leave the area. Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoel Katz, said they attacked the IRINN building after the locals left. Katz added that Israel will hit Iranian dictators wherever they are.

Before the attack, Israel’s military told people in some parts of Tehran to leave. They said they would be attacking Iran’s military infrastructure in the area. IRINN is also in that area.

During the attack, a female news anchor was live on air. The broadcast showed her sitting until the attack happened. Debris fell, and she had to leave the screen. The station was back on air a few minutes later.
