Isn’t your child spreading the word? The investigation blew my mind

A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine by American researchers has revealed that children are more likely to be infected with the virus at home.

Researchers say that children who attended a sleeping camp in the state of Georgia last summer were tested for the spread of corona in their homes.

The tests revealed that the children attending the camp had transmitted the virus to other members of their household.

According to the report, 224 children between the ages of 7 and 19 who participated in the camp were diagnosed with covid in laboratory tests.

The study found that children infected with coronavirus contacted 526 people, mostly parents and siblings, most of whom tested positive.

Researchers say that school-age children can easily be passed on to family members.

The study obtained details of people who had been tormented in the camp between July 17 and August 24, 2020, and did not include families whose cod was diagnosed two days after the children returned from the camp.

According to the study, a third of the children showed symptoms in the camp itself, while two-thirds adopted social distancing at home, potentially reducing the rate of spread of cod there.

The researchers said the risk of transmitting the virus to children could be reduced through social distance and the use of face masks.
