Actress Isha Talwar, who has gained popularity for her role as Madhuri Bhabhi in Amazon Prime Video’s Mirzapur Season 3, has shared her audition process for the show in an interview.
How Did Isha Get the Opportunity to Work in Mirzapur?
Isha Talwar revealed that she was not a well-known actor at the time and had to audition for the role. She was called to audition at Aram Nagar, where she had to give multiple auditions a day. She recalled, “I used to give 6 auditions a day. So I got a call that there is a show Mirzapur, you have to audition for it.”
Questions Raised on Acting
When asked about her thoughts while working on the role, Isha Talwar said, “I thought it would be a 5-minute role. Then I turned the pages and said that the role is big. The role is good, the role is very good.” She also revealed that she had not seen Season 1 and 2 of Mirzapur before joining the show, but had done workshops and exercises to get into character.
