The legal drama between Venezuelan influencer Isabella Ladera and Colombian singer Beéle is heating up. Just ten days after a private video of the two leaked online, Ladera has officially sued Beéle. She’s not just looking to hold her ex-partner accountable. She also wants to clear her name on social media.
Ladera shared the news herself on Instagram stories. She posted a document from Hachar Law Group, the legal team representing her. The lawsuit was filed in Miami-Dade County. The legal filing from Hachar Law Group states: “The Hachar Law Group has filed a civil lawsuit in Miami-Dade County in representation of international model and businesswoman Isabella Ladera, against artist Beéle and other unidentified parties. The lawsuit seeks to hold all involved accountable for the unauthorized dissemination of videos and private content related to Ms. Ladera.”
Isabella Ladera’s Claims and Demands
The Venezuelan model accuses Beéle, whose real name is Brandon de Jesús López, of several serious offenses. These include invasion of privacy, cyber sexual harassment, intentionally causing emotional distress, and negligence. According to a report from Telemundo’s morning show “Hoy Día,” Ladera is also asking for $50,000 in damages.
The lawsuit further explains that Beéle was the one who asked Ladera to record the intimate video. Two parts of this video later appeared on social media platforms like X. The 26-year-old model initially believed that only she and Beéle had access to the footage. The lawsuit emphasizes, “She never thought these videos would be shared with anyone, much less published for the world, as finally occurred.”
Beéle has not yet spoken directly about this new legal move. However, his legal team clarified a week ago that he played no part in leaking or sharing the videos. Víctor Mosquera Marín, Beéle’s legal representative, issued a statement. He said, “It is fundamental to specify that Brandon did not leak said material nor participate in its dissemination. His artistic career and international prestige rule out any need or interest in acts of this nature.”
“One Understands How Morbid Curiosity Works”
Recently, Beéle addressed the intimate video for the first time in public. He appeared on a live stream with Colombian streamer WestCol. The singer had some strong words for his critics. “For those who want to end my peace of mind, this damn thing, they have it hard,” he declared.
The 22-year-old singer added, “After the first injection of ‘funa’ (criticism), one is immune.” He went on to explain his view on public gossip. “One understands how morbid curiosity works. Even knowing that one has not acted that way, they want to destroy you and close doors on you, just for the bad intention of a person. Knowing the person one is. I don’t have to remove or close any door if I don’t want to see you in my life.”
Ladera and Beéle had a romantic relationship in 2024. It’s rumored that Beéle was still married to Camila ‘Cara’ Rodríguez at that time. This theory gained traction because of a detail in Beéle’s hair seen in the intimate video, though it’s not a confirmed fact. Ladera herself announced in October of that year that their relationship was over.
