Isabel García Frontera, new CEO of FREE NOW Spain

FREE NOW is committed to renewing its business structure to reinforce its growth in the European market. In this task, it has decided to bet on Spanish talent and female leadership and has appointed Isabel García Frontera -until now director of operations-, as the new general director in Spain. For its part, Jaime Rodríguez de Santiago takes over as regional director for the countries of Spain, Portugal and France. In this way, two great Spanish professionals are at the forefront of the strategy of one of the largest mobility technology platforms of the moment.

With the appointment as CEO of FREE NOW, Isabel García Frontera becomes one of the few women leaders in technology companies today and takes a great step in her professional career. Among the main challenges he faces within this position, the following stand out: leading the way of sustainability in the taxi sector; the integration of new forms of mobility, work on the CSR strategy and advance the diversity and inclusion strategy of FREE NOW in Spain.

With a degree in agricultural engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and having recently completed the Executive Program for Women in Senior Management (Promociona 2020 Project) at ESADE (Madrid), Isabel has been director of operations at FREE NOW since 2018. Before joining From this company, she worked as a consultant at Accenture, where she developed a large part of her professional career in the field of technology consulting. This allowed him to occupy positions of responsibility in multinational technology companies in highly competitive sectors from 2014 until now, which begins a new professional adventure. «I am taking the reins of this new position with enthusiasm and, above all, with energy to continue working on our multimodal commitment, which we will continue to develop, and of course, our commitment to sustainability, in which we have turned in 2021 and which is already there. bearing fruit“, it states Garcia Frontera.

For his part, Jaime Rodríguez de Santiago, who joined the company with the aim of leading the transformation to integrated, digital and sustainable mobility in the Spanish market, becomes the regional director of FREE NOW for Spain, France and Portugal. After two years with the company, he will continue to advocate for connected mobility and sustainability from a more strategic and responsible position.

Jaime Rodríguez de Santiago is a telecommunications engineer and has been involved in the technology industry since the beginning of his career. He started working at Zhilabs, the startup specialized in Big Data. In 2010, he took his first step as an entrepreneur, launching and leading 6cero, an online media company focused on citizen journalism. In 2017, he was appointed General Manager of Iberia & Germany of BlaBlacar and promoted it to be one of the most recognized brands in Spain, exceeding five million users in the country. In 2019, he joined FREE NOW as Managing Director of Spain. «Leading the change towards sustainable and multimodal mobility in these three countries is a challenge that I face with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. I will continue with the objective of transforming mobility towards a more efficient and connected model that allows improving the quality of life of citizens», He assures Rodriguez de Santiago.

Finally, the company’s communication team will have Adriana Navarro to lead the FREE NOW communication strategy in Spain, Portugal and France. Adriana Navarro, who entered in February 2021 as head of communication in Spain, assumes this new position to coordinate the strategy in southern Europe. Graduated in Law and Journalism, she has a long history in the development and strategic management of international 360 communication campaigns, thanks to her experience of more than ten years in communication agencies. Navarro has had the opportunity to work with brands from all sectors and in international marketing and communication projects, such as at COP22 or with the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union.

The consolidated trajectory of these three personalities will allow the company to continue fulfilling its commitment to create a more digitized, connected, efficient, multimodal and sustainable mobility sector, in a context of greater competition and with an increasingly demanding consumer.
