The winner of eight Goya awards Isabel Coixet is in charge of directing the new Ruavieja Christmas spot, which was shot last October in Barcelona. An advertisement with which the Galician liquor brand is committed to promoting what unites everyone, those connections and everyday ties, to achieve a more humane society. At the moment, Ruavieja has not made public any more details about this year’s spot.
"It has been a real pleasure working on the Ruavieja campaign", says the director of ‘The Secret Life of Words’ or ‘La LibrerÃa’ who anticipates that this year’s Ruavieja spot "It reflects very well the ups and downs and affection, the laughter and the disagreements that constitute the day-to-day life of a couple today".
Ruavieja has highlighted the Catalan director’s talent for making cinema "an intimate, sensitive and deep encounter", with a vision that "focuses on empathy through everyday stories about the lives of the main characters in his films".
After pointing out how those characters "They face their day to day creating plots that, despite their daily life, are loaded with identification and are capable of creating a total bond with the public", Ruavieja has indicated that it is "precisely that simplicity of the characters’ lives, their relationships and the links that unite them with each other" on what she intends to make people reflect on through the spot directed by the filmmaker responsible for titles such as ‘My life without me’, ‘Things that I never told you’ or the most recent ‘It snows in Benidorm’.
