The Indian team suffered a defeat in the first game of the five-match Test series against England. After that, Team India made a spectacular comeback in the second Test match and won, leveling the series 1-1. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah played the most important role in the Indian team’s victory in the Visakhapatnam Test match in which he took a total of 9 wickets. Now, Ravichandran Ashwin has also praised his brilliant performance and congratulated him on achieving the number 1 ranking in the Test format.

The real eye-catcher is the boomball

The strategy that the England team currently uses in Test cricket is called baseball. While Ashwin praised Bumrah on his YouTube channel, he said that the real show is a boomball stealer. Bumrah has performed brilliantly in the first two Test matches of this series and has taken a total of 15 wickets so far. He is now the best bowler in the Test format too. I’m a big fan of his and this is a big success for him too. The first fast bowler from India to reach number one in all formats. We can tell you that Bumrah has reached No. 1 earlier in ODI and T20 formats too.

This time the test series will take place at venues that were not part of the World Cup games.

In his statement, Ravichandran Ashwin also said about the cities selected during this Test series, we played against Australia in Dharamsala, Ranchi, Pune and Bengaluru in 2017. If there is a 4-5 match Test series, it will usually take place in at least one or two major cities. But this time it’s happening in places that weren’t part of the World Cup game. These locations are new to most Indian players. There are many players in our team who have not played first-class or Test matches in Visakhapatnam. I don’t think this is possible in any other country. However, this is possible in India as there are many testing locations here. Therefore, the players are unfamiliar with their homeland. He may have played IPL, T20 or ODI but playing with the red ball definitely makes a difference.
