Iraqi intelligence has revealed in a secret report that pro-Iranian militias operating in the country planned to attack the US embassy in Baghdad on the anniversary of the death of Al-Quds Brigade Commander Qasim Soleimani.

According to foreign media reports, a report by the Iraqi Intelligence Department warned that the US Air Force’s operation near Baghdad airport two years ago killed Qasim Soleimani, head of the Al-Quds Brigade of the Revolutionary Guards, and Abu Madi al-Mohandes, deputy head of Al-Hashd al-Shabi in Iraq. She is planning to attack the US embassy in Baghdad to avenge her death.

The intelligence report also called for the beleagured PM to resign.

Qasim Soleimani was killed in a US airstrike on January 3, 2020. The Iranian government is preparing to celebrate the second anniversary of its talented general.

It should be noted that the United States had included Qasim Soleimani in the list of terrorists in order to organize armed militias in the Middle East, especially in Syria and Iraq.

Meanwhile, an analysis published in Bloomberg advised US President Joe Biden to send a clear message to Tehran that his country could think beyond economic sanctions to stop Iran’s efforts to acquire nuclear weapons.

The analysis predicts that the Iranian leadership intends to hold talks with the United States on the assassination of Qasim Soleimani.
