Iran Protests: The ongoing protests against the hijab in the Muslim country of Iran are increasing continuously. Protests have spread to 80 cities following the custodial death of 22-year-old Kurdish woman Mahasa Amini. Amini was detained by the Morality Police for not wearing the hijab properly. The police are using force to suppress the demonstrations. Due to which at least 26 people have died so far. While a large number of people have been injured. At this time the situation in the country is continuously getting worse. There is a lot of anger among the people against the government. In protest against the hijab, women have protested by cutting their hair.

Whereas in many places people have even set fire to the hijab. Some videos of Iran have surfaced on social media, seeing which we can know about the situation here. Posters of the supreme religious leader i.e. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei are being torn down, somewhere they are being set on fire, and somewhere they are being pelted with stones. Khamenei is the same, whose words have been accepted by the people of Iran by bowing their heads. Of course, there is a democratic government system in the country, but only the supreme leader is running.

In the video, protesters can be seen setting the hijab on fire. Along with women, men are also actively participating in the demonstrations. They demand that instead of making the hijab compulsory, it should be made optional.
