Iran has developed cruise missiles with a range of 1650 km

Tehran: Iran has developed a long-range cruise missile, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, claimed in an interview.

According to the details, while giving an interview to the Iranian state TV, Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the range of Iran’s cruise missile is 1650 km.

Foreign news agencies Reuters reports According to Iran, this move may increase the concerns expressed by the West after the use of Iranian drones in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The Iranian commander said that cruise missiles have been added to Iran’s missile arsenal, adding that ballistic missile attacks on US-led forces in Iraq after the killing of Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in a US drone strike in Baghdad in 2020. I did not intend to kill any soldier.

Amir Ali Hajizadeh says that Iran’s ballistic missile program is purely defensive, the Iranian missile system is capable of hitting any target.

In addition, Iran has said it supplied drones to Moscow before the war in Ukraine, while Russia has used drones to target power stations and civilian infrastructure.
