Iran: Former president’s daughter arrested for supporting protests against Mehsa Amini’s death

Iran: Fayza Rafsanjani, the daughter of the former president of Iran Hashemi Rafsanjani, was arrested for supporting the protests against the death of the young girl Mehsa Amini.

According to details, the series of protests against the death of Mehsa Amini, a 22-year-old young girl in police custody in Iran, could not be stopped, the scope of the protests has spread to 80 cities.

Clashes between the police and the protestors are ongoing in various cities and the security forces are using full force against the protestors.

Seventy-six people have been killed and more than nine hundred have been arrested in the violent protests that have been going on for thirteen days.

Faiza Rafsanjani, the daughter of Iran’s former president Hashemi Rafsanjani, has been arrested for participating in protests.

On the other hand, expressing solidarity with the protesters in Iran, the Turkish singer cut her hair on stage during the performance, the video of which went viral on social media.

It should be noted that the protests that started in Iran after the death of Mehsa Amini are now spreading abroad.
