iQoo is preparing to launch two new smartphones on the market and rumors about the terminals have already begun to circulate in the web world. Leaker Digital Chat Station dedicated one of its famous and productive social media posts to the new Neo 7 model, which comes with more advanced specifications than the equally new Z6 model.

But let’s get to know the model better. According to the well-known leaker, the Neo 7 will house the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The model will be powered by a 4,700 mAh battery with support for 120-watt fast charging, coming to market with the Android 12 operating system under the OriginOS Ocean user interface.

For photography, the rear panel features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.

For the rest, it will also integrate a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that provides a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is scheduled to arrive, for now, in the Chinese market, between the end of August and the beginning of September. .

iQOO Z6 may arrive with faster charging than its predecessor

However, other rumors are beginning to lift the veil of secrecy about the new iQOO Z6, or rather, about the improved version of the Z6 model that the brand will make available soon. The big difference that distinguishes it from its predecessor is the integration of support for 80-watt fast charging, a functionality that the previous version does not have.

But it looks like it’s going to lose when it comes to display. Some rumors suggest that the new model will opt for an LCD panel and not AMOLED like the previous model. However, it does gain a 120Hz refresh rate, which is higher.

Another difference will be the integrated processor. The new iQOO Z6 will feature a Snapdragon 7 series chip while the previous version is equipped with the SNpadragon 680, also from Qualcomm.

No more was revealed, but the new Z6 is expected to keep the same 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB of internal storage as its successor.
