Meet the iQOO Pad5 series, a duo of premium Android tablets that just launched in China. The lineup includes the standard Pad5 and the high-end Pad5 Pro, both designed to deliver top-notch entertainment, gaming, and content creation experiences.
The Pad5 Pro boasts a 13.2-inch LCD screen with a 3.1K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It also supports HDR10 and P3 color standards, ensuring professional-grade color accuracy.
Under the hood, the Pad5 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which features an 8-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.73 GHz and a 12-core Immortalis-G925 graphics processor. The Pad5, on the other hand, is equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which has a maximum clock speed of 3.4 GHz and an Immortalis-G720 graphics processor.
The Pad5 Pro has a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, while the Pad5 features an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Both tablets run on the OriginOS 5D operating system, which offers a range of features, including multi-device connectivity, remote PC control, and support for WPS Office and CAJViewer.
The iQOO Pad5 series also comes with AI-powered tools, such as speech-to-text conversion, meeting summary, and presentation creation, thanks to the DeepSeek-R1 engine.
The Pad5 Pro has a large 12,050mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, allowing for up to 18 hours of continuous video playback. It measures 6.07mm thick and weighs 635 grams, with an 8-speaker setup and a 40,600mm² heat dissipation system.
In comparison, the Pad5 has a 10,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging, measures 6.62mm thick, and weighs 590 grams, with a 34,200mm² heat dissipation system.
Both tablets support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1), as well as accessories like the Smart Touch Keyboard and Pencil 3.
