Sunil Narine holds the record for most Player of the Match awards with three. Chennai Super Kings have played the most IPL finals, with 10 appearances, including five wins and five losses. Mumbai Indians have made it to the final six times, losing only once.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have reached the final three times before but have never won the title. They last made it to the final in 2016. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have only made it to the final once before, in 2014, when they lost to Kolkata Knight Riders. This is their first final appearance since then.
