Recently on the RCB podcast, Chahal recalled an incident he named Andrew Symonds and James Franklin from Australia. Chahal had said that these two players tied my hands and feet and put duct tape over my mouth and left it overnight.

Yuzvendra Chahal had said: ‘It was after winning the Champions League in a hotel in Chennai in 2011. Symonds drank a lot of ‘fruit juice’, only I was with him. James Franklin and Symonds tied my hands and feet and told me: now you have to open. They were both so amused that they put tape over my mouth and then forgot. The party was over and in the morning when a sweeper came, he saw me and rescued me. He asked me how long I’ve been here like this and I said, ‘Raat se hi’.
