IPL Points Table Shuffle: MI Jumps to Third, SRH and RR Struggle to Survive

Mumbai Indians have climbed to third place in the IPL standings after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets. This is their fifth win in nine games, and they’ve got a better net run rate than four other teams with 10 points. They now have a net run rate of +0.673, which is the highest among the teams tied on 10 points, including RCB, PBKS, and LSG.

The bottom three teams – Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals – are struggling. They’ve all played eight games and lost six. Their path to the playoffs is getting tougher. They’ve got six games left, and losing just one more could make it almost impossible for them to qualify.

Top Teams

At the top, Gujarat Titans are leading the pack with six wins in eight games. Delhi Capitals are close behind with the same number of wins, but Gujarat has a better net run rate. RCB is fourth, with five wins in eight games. Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants are just behind, also with five wins in eight games.

Kolkata Knight Riders are in trouble. They’ve won only three of their eight games and are seventh on the table. Still, their net run rate is better than Lucknow’s and Punjab’s.
