The Indian Premier League’s playoff spots are heating up. Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings have secured their places. Two of these teams have never won an IPL title. If Delhi Capitals also make it, we might see a new champion this year.
The prizes are big. The winner gets 20 crore rupees, the runner-up gets 12.5 crore, and the teams that come third and fourth get 7 crore and 6.5 crore respectively.
- Champion: 20 crore
- Runner-up: 12.5 crore
- Third place: 7 crore
- Fourth place: 6.5 crore
But what about teams that don’t make the playoffs? We don’t know if they’ll get any prize money yet.
Current Standings
Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings are in. Five teams are out. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are fighting for the last spot. Playoffs start May 29, and the final is on June 3 in Ahmedabad.
