IPL 2025 Playoff Race Begins: Sunrisers Hyderabad Leads

Punjab Kings is third after beating Gujarat Titans by 11 runs, with a net run rate of +0.550. Chennai Super Kings is fourth, having won against Mumbai Indians with a net run rate of +0.493.

Delhi Capitals is the only other team to win their first match, beating Lucknow Super Giants by one wicket. Their net run rate is +0.371, putting them fifth in the table.

On the other hand, five teams have lost their opening matches. These include Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, and Kolkata Knight Riders. Here’s how the bottom five teams stand:
