IPL 2023: These four foreigners will be part of Mumbai’s 11 players, Aakash Chopra predicts

The sixteenth season of IPL (IPL 2023) is slowly approaching. For this, a mini auction has also been carried out, in which many players were bought by different franchises. In this, Mumbai also made Australian all-rounder Cameron Green part of their squad. Following this mini auction, former Indian player Aakash Chopra predicted the Mumbai Indians’ playing XI. He said which four foreign players Mumbai would like to be part of his XI game.

Speaking about this on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said: “Jhye Richardson is a steal in my opinion if you watch BBL, which I do. He would like to feed two foreign fast bowlers into the team, because Indian fast bowlers don’t have that quality. I’m thinking Jhye Richardson or Jason Behrendorff, 100% Jofra Archer and then Cameron Green and Tim Davids. Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brewis may take a backseat.”

Cameron Green is playing the Test series against Africa these days. In the second Test, he also took 5 wickets in his name while bowling. However, after this he too was injured while batting. On the other hand, Jhye Richardson is seen bowling brilliantly in the Big Bash League being played these days. He is playing for Perth Scorchers.

Aakash Chopra looked around the team and said: “It was a very important auction for Mumbai as they are often not where they were last year. They take the top floor, where they will stay in the basement. But Mumbai Indians was number 10. So it was important for them to make the auction count. Joffra Archer and Jaspreet Bumrah will be present. So, in any case, the team is starting to look a little better.”
