IPL 2022: Shimron Hetmyer leaves Rajasthan Royals biobubble and returns to Guyana

Rajasthan Royals star batsman Shimron Hetmyer has left his team and returned to Guyana. He left the Rajasthan team biobubble on Sunday morning and took a flight to Guyana. In reality, Shimron Hetmyer is about to become a father for the first time. As soon as he got this information from his house, he immediately left to return to his city.

Rajasthan Royals posted a video of Shimron emerging from the biobubble on social media. In this video he is seen hugging his classmates. During this, James Neesham, Yuzvendra Chahal, Daryl Mitchell are seen congratulating him. He is also heard other players asking him to come live after the child is born.

Rajasthan Royals also released a statement along with this tweet. In which it has been said that Hetmyer will join the team soon, although the time has not been given for it. “Shimron Hetmyer left for Guyana this morning as his baby girl is about to be born,” the statement said. He will soon be joining the Rajasthan Royals after becoming a father.

Shimron Hetmyer has been in great form this season. This season, he has been scoring the necessary runs for the team by hitting vigorously from the first game. He so far has scored 291 runs in 11 innings and remains undefeated on 7 occasions. His batting average has been 72.75, while his strike rate has been 166.28.
