The iPhone SE, with a 4.7-inch screen, will launch next spring.
The fact that it comes at a more affordable price may dictate its success in the market, but what if it had more attractive specifications? It seems that Apple is preparing a new SE for 2023, whose novelty will be a 5.7-inch screen.
The integration of an OLED screen in the iPhone SE 2023 depends on the cost of production
Apparently, this year Apple will “bring back” the SE model of the iPhone and launch the 2022 version with a 4.7-inch screen next spring. The compact model will also have support for 5G communications and a very similar design to its predecessor.
But it seems that the Cupertino company will not wait another two years to launch another SE version and in 2023 it will present another affordable model, but with more substantial arguments, such as a 5.7-inch screen.
The information is advanced by Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, who also adds that the model will also integrate an OLED screen. However, according to the same source, the integration of the OLED panel depends directly on the pricing policy practiced at that time for this type of screen.
Ross Young claims that if including this specification proves to be too expensive, Apple could delay the launch of the 5.7-inch iPhone SE until the following year: 2024.
How Apple profits from the high prices of its products

It is widely known that Apple’s strategy for earning revenue involves the practice of pricing its products high. It is precisely this huge margin that allows the company to obtain high income from iPhone sales. In fact, according to the rumors circulating in the web world, iOS users should prepare for a price increase in the iPhone 14 series.
But not all the news is discouraging. According to leaker LeaksApplePro, only the Pro models of the iPhone 14 series will see an increase in cost, and the standard models will remain in the price segment of the current iPhone 13.
Remember that the Cupertino company plans to launch four new models: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Max for 790 euros. But where the increase will be noticed will be in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models that could cost approximately 100 dollars more (90 euros) than their predecessors.
In this sense, it is advanced that the iPhone 14 Pro can reach 1,099 dollars, or 960 euros, while the 14 Pro Max model could cost 1,190 dollars, that is, 1,050 euros. It should be noted that to arrive at values in euros, we convert dollars to European currency. Which means that these values in euros may be higher, since this is traditionally what happens with the iPhone models that arrive in Europe.
