It will be in September of this year that Apple presents the new series of the iconic iPhone 15 smartphone.
To take stock of the situation, the Phone Arena website has produced new renders with all the design changes that the models will undergo. This will be (hopefully) the new iPhone 15.
iPhone 15 with thinner bezels
The Phone Arena website has developed several images that reflect the design changes that the new iPhone 15 will introduce. The renders were based on all the rumors published so far, but these are not official images. For that reason, some last minute changes may still occur.
To follow the trend of maximizing screen real estate, Apple should give all iPhone 15 models slimmer bezels. However, none of the terminals should integrate a larger panel, but the Pro models can integrate frames that are only 1.5 millimeters thick.
Dynamic Island will be present in all models
Another of the most recurring rumors is that in this series all the models will have the Dynamic Island functionality. This means that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will finally receive the features and software associated with this feature.
More importantly, this design change means that the Cupertino company is finally ditching the well-known notch.
Apple gives in and there is the USB-C port
This will be a historic day if it is indeed the iPhone 15 generation that introduces the universal USB Type-C port to this series of smartphones. It won’t be the most visible design change, but it will certainly be one of the most important.
Now the question is: will the Pro models provide faster upload and transfer speeds? Various rumors say that it is, but the European Union is not, and it has been happy with this difference. We’ll have to wait and see.
Action button only for iPhone 15 Pro models
Another great novelty will be the introduction of the Action button that will work in a similar way to the Apple Watch Ultra. But beware, this feature will only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models.
According to rumors, the new action button replaces the well-known Mute Switch present in Apple smartphones and allows you to customize the actions, as the name suggests.
But beware, some rumors have already spread that Apple will have abandoned the Action button for this generation and that it will limit itself to including two separate volume buttons, as you can see in this image from the Phone Arena website.
iPhone 15 Pro Max with outstanding camera module
It looks like Apple will finally integrate a periscope telephoto sensor into the iPhone 15, but then again, only the 15 Pro Max model will be entitled to this feature. For this reason, the terminal’s camera module will be more prominent, due to the size of the new sensor.
Another of the changes is that this same module will adopt a rectangular shape in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, while in the rest of the models it will continue with its circular shape.
iPhone 15 with new colors
There is no doubt that marking a new color immediately gives a new look to the terminal. And Apple will do it in the iPhone 15 series. The base models 15 and 15 Plus will be available in the options: Midnight, Starlight, Red Product, Pink and Blue.
The Pro models will have totally different shades. In these terminals you can choose between black, silver, gold and dark red.
