iPhone 14: Everything We Ever Think We Know About the New iPhone

Rumors about the iPhone 14 started to surface on the internet before the iPhone 13 announcement.

While it’s still a long time before it’s officially unveiled, we can compile what we think we know.

The iPhone 13 brought a 120 Hz ProMotion screen to the iPhone Pro variants and rumors suggest that all four iPhone 14 models can come with this display technology.

However, this is not safe as He c reported that ProMotion will be exclusive to the Pro model and that the standard iPhone 14 can feature an LTPS OLED screen without the ProMotion 120Hz option.

However, there is a novelty in the possible models that the iPhone 14 could reach. the smaller 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini will have no successor in 2022.

Apple could leave that size out of the equation in favor of the iPhone SE 2022 and focus on larger screen options. Instead of the mini, Apple could launch the iPhone 14 Max (without “Pro”) with a 6.7″ screen – the same as the iPhone 13 Pro Max – offering a larger screen model with possibly a larger battery as well.

That means there would be four models in the iPhone 14 line, but without the smaller screen option available in the iPhone 12 and 13 product lines. According to the leaks, the next product line could include a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, as well as a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro Max.

Regarding the design, Jon Prosser believe that Apple will remove the camera protrusion on the back of the iPhone 14 using a thicker chassis.

Some images created from leaked iPhone 14 Pro information show a design resemblance to the iPhone 4, from its front and back to its flat sides and circular volume knobs. Now, we should keep in mind that Jon Prosser has a pretty inconsistent record of success.

Rumors also claim that The iPhone 14 will feature a titanium alloy chassis., according to a report by JP Morgan Chase. Titanium, stronger and more scratch-resistant than aluminum, has already been introduced into the Apple Watch.

With the release of the iPhone 14, Apple will likely release an unrivaled design, at least on the Pro models. Trusted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will get rid of the notch and replace it with a one-hole selfie camera.

Facial ID scanning technology will find a new home under the screen, the screen expert believes Ross Young.

A new iPhone is always released with better camera technology and the iPhone 14 will likely be no exception.

Ming-Chi Kuo believes that iPhone 14 Pro models can boost the main camera by up to 48 megapixels. The possibility of a periscope zoom and 8K video recording.

In light of how the number of cameras from other manufacturers is increasing, Apple could join a Quad camera for Pro models and a triple camera for standard iPhone 14 models.

Every new iPhone comes with a more powerful and efficient processor. With that in mind, it is expected that the chipset A16 Bionic Power iPhone 14. Apparently it will be manufactured on a 3 or 4 nm process from TSMC.

Initially, it was believed that the chip would be based on a 3nm process, but TSMC talked about the scarcity of 3nm chips, which means the iPhone 14 could have a chip integrated into the 4nm process. This would offer certain advantages over the iPhone 13’s 5nm A15 chip.

The iPhone 12 debuted 5G connectivity on smartphones. Consumers have even higher expectations for the iPhone 14. Apple could meet the challenge using the first 10Gbps 5G modem – Snapdragon X65 – to offer improvements in speed and connectivity.

While the European Union is proposing to make USB-C mandatory for all cell phones, Apple is likely to continue without it. Instead, rumors indicate that the company could remove the Lightning port from the iPhone in favor of MagSafe by charging it to abandon the port entirely at some point in the future.

The launch of the iPhone 14 line is scheduled for September 2022 based on Apple’s track record, but that could depend largely on the state of the industry as a whole at the time and whether chip shortages are still an issue.
