International technicians Duró and Moreno will train Dominicans

Two foreign coaches will give a Revalidation and Update Clinic for 2023 Coaches in the country, which will be developed over two weekends, in the annual training process for Dominican coaches.

Both conclaves will be in charge, in the first week of the dissertation, by the Argentine coach Fernando Duró, leader of the Venezuelan basketball team, and it will be this Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29 for category A and B coaches, in the auditorium of the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame, in the Olympic Center.

While the second phase will be the following weekend, Saturday February 4 and 5 in the Mauricio Báez club auditorium, by Colombian Guillermo Moreno Rumie, coach of the Colombian team, for category C Dominican coaches.

The two clinics will have their practical parts at the Palacio de los Deportes Virgilio Travieso Soto and the sports center of the Mauricio Báez club, respectively, with a special dedication to the coach and Immortal of Dominican Sports José -Boyón- Domínguez.

More than 300 coaches from categories A, B and C are invited to this training organized by the Dominican College of Basketball Coaches (Codebal), chaired by Melvyn López, with the endorsement of the Dominican Basketball Federation (Fedombal), which directs Rafael Uribe, who offered the details of the clinic.

López said that they are sponsored by the Ministry of Sports, the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD), Opal Jeans, the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewerage (INAPA), the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) and the National Basketball League (LNB).
