Benchmark results for an unreleased Intel processor, identified as the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, indicate strong performance, potentially foreshadowing the company’s planned Arrow Lake Refresh lineup.
The processor, appearing in Geekbench records, features 24 cores, comprising eight performance cores and 16 efficiency cores. It also boasts a boost frequency of up to 5.5 GHz.
Its single-core score reached approximately 3,200 points in Geekbench 6, with multi-core performance hitting around 22,200 points. According to comparisons by tech press, these figures place it in close contention with current top-tier models.
The chip was observed running on an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) platform, specifically a Lenovo system. This setup included DDR5-7200 memory and a dedicated graphics processing unit.
The leak, first reported by Guru3D on Wednesday, emerges as Intel has previously confirmed plans for an Arrow Lake refresh in 2026. This strategy typically involves minor adjustments, such as improved binning and clock speed optimizations. These are designed to extend the product family’s lifespan before the introduction of a new microarchitecture.
The emergence of a “270K Plus” variant aligns with this approach. It suggests architectural continuity with Arrow Lake while introducing SKU repositioning. This could include more cores in certain models, slightly modified clock speeds, and adjusted power limits.
However, these details are based on initial leaks. Neither Intel nor its OEM partners have officially confirmed the specifications or public availability of this processor.
