Ingenico enables the launch of Alipay+ to merchants and banks and acquirers with PPaaS

Ingenicoa Worldline brand, and Ant Group have announced the details of their agreement that will allow acquirers and other payment service providers to implement Alipay+ seamlessly across your merchant networks using Ingenico’s PPaaS (Payment Platform as a Service) cloud-based solution.

PPaaS harnesses the power of the payments ecosystem by combining payments with value-added services for the new world of commerce. Alipay+’s integration into its cloud-based platform paves the way for faster rollout of Alipay+ services to its customers and merchants. Ingenico’s PPaaS customers, including acquirers, payment service providers and independent software vendors, will be able to configure Alipay+ on their payment terminals without the need for complex and costly development, deployment and certification. Thanks to this simplicity, Alipay+ will be able to expand its reach and accelerate its development, bringing its services to merchants smoothly and quickly.

Launched in 2020, Alipay+ is a suite of global cross-border mobile payment and marketing solutions operated by Ant Group. It supports a wide range of digital payment methods, including e-wallets, banking apps, and buy now pay later services such as GCash in the Philippines, Kakao Pay in South Korea, Klarna in Europe, and Alipay in China.
