Infotep will hold an international seminar on teaching transformation tomorrow

The National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep) will celebrate tomorrow, Tuesday, February 22, the International Seminar on Teaching Transformation 4.0 with the aim of sharing with the educational community the teaching updating program in innovative methodological strategies that the institution has been developing since last September 21. .

The meeting will take place at 9:00 in the morning in the Jesús María Troncoso auditorium of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. Government authorities and the education sector will attend, as well as senior representatives of the business sector, according to a statement from the institution.

The general director of Infotep, Rafael Santos Badía, reported that the seminar will offer the conferences “Professional development of the next generation, for self-management and educational innovation” and “Model of generative change: transforming the mentality and practice of the teacher of the 21st century”.

The presentations will be given by Sandra Noguera Glen, general director of The Learning Innovation Catalyst (LINC) for Latin America, with 16 years of experience in the education sector, and Jaime Pales, founder and co-general director of LINC.

Profiles

Noguera Glen has worked as a science and math teacher and as a teacher learning specialist, leading institutional processes of professional development. She is an Industrial Engineer with a Master’s in Multidisciplinary Studies, a Google Certified Trainer, and a Certified Visitor from The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

While Pales has co-founded multiple education companies that have impacted hundreds of thousands of students and teachers internationally, with transformative pedagogy and professional learning.

During the seminar, an International Certification in Transformation Agent Coach and the Generative Change Model will be delivered to 105 teacher trainers, teacher advisors and workshop managers.

With this program, Infotep pursues the creation of a new profile for teachers and staff that is related to the quality of teaching and learning processes, the note concludes.
