INFOTEP seeks to train more than 600,000 participants in 2023

The 2023 Annual Operating Plan (POA) of the National Institute for Professional Technical Training (Infotep) aims to train 649,880 participants nationwide, through 35,847 training actions or courses.

This is how Professor Rafael Santos Badía, general director of Infotep, explained, noting that the Plan contemplates providing technical assistance and advice to companies of various economic sectors and sizes, which, without a doubt, will be reflected in an increase in their productivity.

The POA-2023 establishes the expansion of the coverage of the programs that correspond to levels III and IV of the National Qualifications Framework and, in addition, proposes increasing the virtual training service to facilitate access to professional technical training. “Infotep will focus its services on extending the coverage of the programs linked to the 4.0 offer, the acquisition of digital skills; as well as the promotion of innovation and the development of innovative culture”, expressed the general director of Infotep.

The 2023 Annual Operating Plan is the second plan derived from the “Infotep Strategic Plan 2022-2024”, with which the national system of professional technical training contributes to the economic and social development of the country.
