Inflation in the US reached a 40-year high.
According to foreign media, the recent rate of inflation in the United States was recorded at the level of 8.2%, the Federal Reserve increased the interest rate by 0.75%, the central bank increased the interest rate for the sixth time in a row.
Chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell says that the target is to bring the rate to 2 percent, by the end of this year the rate can go up to 4.4 percent.
Meanwhile, the inflation rate in Turkey also reached the highest level, the annual inflation rate has been on the rise since 1997. Commodity prices rose by 83.45 percent in September.
It should be noted that there has been a wave of severe inflation in the world for the past few years, in which more acceleration has been seen after the Russia-Ukraine war.
