Infinix Unveils Xpad GT Tablet With Snapdragon 888, 144Hz Display

Meet the Infinix Xpad GT, a budget-friendly gaming tablet that’s making waves. This device is the latest from Infinix, a company that’s been gaining attention for its affordable yet powerful gadgets. The Xpad GT is a significant step up from its predecessor, the Xpad, which was released in 2024.

So, what’s under the hood? The Xpad GT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, a 5-nanometer chip that was first released in 2021. This chip boasts a Cortex-X1 core with a speed of up to 2.84 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores with speeds of up to 2.42 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores with speeds of up to 1.8 GHz.

But that’s not all – the Xpad GT also comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, plus an Adreno 660 graphics chip. According to Infinix, this device can handle high frame rates with ease. For example, you can play games like Standoff 2 at 144 FPS, Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends at 120 FPS, and PUBG at 90 FPS. The device also features a large heat dissipation system to keep things cool during intense gaming sessions.

The Xpad GT’s display is equally impressive, with a 13-inch screen that has a resolution of 2880 x 1840 pixels. This display supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and HDR10 standards, with a maximum brightness of 700 nits. The device also features a 9-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera.

But what about battery life? The Xpad GT has a 10,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging. It also comes with eight speakers that support 3D DTS sound and an adapter that converts the USB-C port to a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device itself is made of metal and is just 6.5 mm thick. You’ll also get a free leather case with your purchase.

Infinix is also offering some interesting accessories for the Xpad GT, including a keyboard, touchpad, and stylus. This suggests that the device is designed to be more than just a gaming tablet – it’s also suitable for work and creative tasks.

If you’re interested in getting your hands on the Xpad GT, it’s available for pre-order on Lazada in Malaysia for 1,700 Malaysian ringgit.
