Ineos wins the time trial and Ethan Hayter is positioned as the new leader

The British team Ineos Grenadiers won the Tour of Britain team time trial on Tuesday, 18.2 kilometers with departure and arrival in Camarthenshire and his runner Ethan Hayter became the new leader of the race.

Ineos obtained a seventeen-second advantage over the Belgian team of Deceuninck-Quick Step, who achieved second place, and twenty over the Dutch Team Jumbo-Visma, which was third. The Spanish Movistar Team was seventh one minute and eight seconds behind the winner.

Made up of Ethan Hayter, Carlos Rodríguez, Rohan Dennis, Richie Porte, Owain Doull and Michal Kwiatkowski, the British team posted a time of 20:22. The result of the third day leaves the British Ethan Hayter as the first in the general classification with six seconds of margin compared to his teammate, the Australian Rohan Dennis. The Belgian Wout Van Aert, of the Jumbo-Visma, is third to sixteen seconds.

Carlos Serrano, from Movistar, thirteenth, is the best Spaniard, one minute and ten seconds behind the leader of the race. This Wednesday the fourth stage will be held, starting in Aberaeron and finishing in Great Orme, Llandudno, with a 210-kilometer route.
