Miguel Indurain, five-time Tour de France champion, will once again face the harsh dunes of the desert in the Skoda Titan Desert in Morocco 2023 from April 30. The Kosner Team – Saltoki Home has confirmed the presence of the Navarrese cyclist, who will live his second experience in one of the toughest races in the world.
In this way, Indurain will dare this new challenge after competing in the Titan World Series in the Skoda Titan Desert in Almería in 2020, when he finished in 41st place. The Navarrese champion will run in one of the most outstanding teams in the race, since the Swiss Konny Looser, current champion of the event, is also in their ranks.
In statements collected by the Kosner – Saltoki Home team, Indurain showed his enthusiasm for this new challenge. “For me it is a great satisfaction to be able to participate in the Titan Desert Morocco 2023 as part of the Kosner – Saltoki Home team. I couldn’t do it before due to the pandemic and now is the time to live this experience together with a great group of people”. The dunes of Morocco are already waiting for one of the best cyclists of all time.
