India’s water terrorism, the announcement of a hydropower project on the river Chenab

Another sinister plan of India has come to light to plunge Pakistan into drought.

India continues its water aggression against Pakistan, which has once again violated the Indus Basin Treaty by announcing another project on the Chenab River.

According to sources, India has announced a 540 MW Quarter Hydropower Project on the Chenab River, on which Pakistan has expressed serious concerns and decided to seek all the details of the project from the Indus Water Commission India.

According to sources, the project will be constructed on the river Chenab in Kishtwar district of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs of India has approved the project.

It should be noted that under the Indus Water Treaty, India is bound to inform six months before launching a new project on Pakistani rivers.
