India’s team will be announced next week for the series against Australia.

The India team may be announced soon for the series against Australia to be played next month. A selectors meeting will reportedly be held next week to select the team. According to the Inside Sport report, in preparation for the T20 World Cup, the selectors can make room for 18 players in the team.

It has been stated in the report that the team will be announced early next week. The India team will also be selected for the World Cup starting in October before September 16. However, there are now no signs of any major changes in the team.

Along with captain Rohit Sharma, only KL Rahul can be seen handling the opening responsibility. Virat Kohli will bat at number three and Suryakumar at number four. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja will be part of the team as an all-rounder. Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will play the role of goalkeeper batsman.

Deepak Hooda can be kept on your computer as a full backup. Yuzvendra Chahal will also surely get a place. Apart from this, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh will also get a place for the series against Australia.

Team India number one fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may return to the team. Jasprit Bumrah is currently working on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy. However, the selectors will not take any chances with Bumrah’s fitness and he will be given a place in the squad only if he is fully fit.

R Ashwin, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Axar Patel and Ishan Kishan are the players who can get a spot on Team India for the series against Australia. However, it is very difficult for these players to get a place in the starting eleven.
