Indias T20I Eleven Springs Surprising Four Pronged Pace Attack

The T20I series between India and England begins on January 22nd. A total of 5 T20I matches will be played in this series, with the first match being held in Kolkata. England has revealed its strong playing eleven for the first T20I match against India.

Notably, Phil Salt has taken over wicketkeeping duties from captain Jos Buttler, who will bat at number three instead. England cricket coach Brendon McCullum had previously announced that Butler would not be wicketkeeping in the first match to be played in Kolkata.

Phil Salt to Open the Batting

Phil Salt will open the batting with Ben Duckett. The English team has chosen a strong playing eleven, including fast bowlers Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton, Joffra Archer, and Mark Wood. All-rounder Liam Livingstone has also been included in the lineup.
