India’s Manika Vishwakarma, Dancer-Advocate, Misses Miss Universe 2025 Top 12

Mexico’s Fatima Bosch has been crowned Miss Universe 2025 following a competitive pageant in Thailand. India’s representative, Manika Vishwakarma, did not secure a spot in the Top 12.

Vishwakarma, who hails from Rajasthan, had successfully advanced to the Top 30 in the global competition. Her journey was closely watched by fans in India and around the world.

She particularly captivated audiences during the National Costume round. There, she presented a costume representing Buddhist culture and traditions.

Her attire featured a prominent crown and the Dharma Chakra symbol on her back. The distinctive design received widespread acclaim for its cultural depth and artistry.

Beyond the pageant, Vishwakarma boasts a strong academic background. She studied Political Science and Economy at Delhi University.

She is also recognized as a classical dancer and a painter. Her diverse talents extend beyond the runway.

Vishwakarma is a vocal advocate for neurodivergence. She established the Neuronova platform to raise awareness about neuro disorders.

Her journey to Miss Universe followed her win as Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024. She then claimed the Miss Universe India title on August 18, 2025.
