International Cricket Schedule for the Year
The cricketing world is set to witness several exciting tournaments and series this year. The Champions Trophy, hosted by Pakistan, is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 9. Prior to this, the Indian cricket team will face England in a series comprising 5 T20 matches and 3 ODI matches on home soil, from January 22 to February 12.
Indian Team’s Tour of England and Asia Cup
Following the Champions Trophy, the Indian team will embark on a tour of England, where they will play a series of 5 test matches starting from June 20. Subsequently, they will participate in the Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in August. The Asia Cup will feature teams from the Asian continent, competing in a thrilling tournament.
Indian Team’s Tour of Australia and Bangladesh
In the latter part of the year, the Indian team will tour Australia, where they will engage in a series of 3 ODI and 5 T20 matches. Although the exact schedule is yet to be finalized, the series is expected to take place in October-November. Additionally, the Indian team will visit Bangladesh in August, where they will play a series of 3 ODI and 3 T20 matches against the host team.
Home Series Against West Indies and South Africa
The Indian team will also host the West Indies team in October, with a 2-test match series scheduled to take place. Furthermore, the South African team will visit India in November-December, where they will play a 2-test match series, along with 3 ODI and 5 T20 matches.
