Indian wicketkeepers have scored 6 centuries out of Asia, half of them on behalf of Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant has surpassed other Indian goalie batsmen in terms of scoring a century away from Asia. Within a few years of his debut, this young goalkeeper has registered many records to his name. Only he has the power to win the match by getting the India team out of the sticky situation. He has also shown it in Australia and England. In South Africa he has also shown his ability with his solid tackles.

In the final match of the three-match Test series between India and South Africa, Pant scored a century while rescuing Team India from a sticky situation. This is the first century for an Indian goalkeeper in South Africa. Prior to this, he also achieved the title of the only Indian wicketkeeper to score a Test century in Australia and England. He now has three hundred outside of Asia, which is half the total number of centuries scored by Indian goalkeepers outside of Asia.

1. Vijay Manjrekar was the first Indian wicketkeeper to score a century outside of Asia. He played a 118-run innings against the West Indies at Kingston in 1952.
2. Ajay Ratra also scored a century in the West Indies themselves. He played a 115-run inning in 2002.
3. Wriddhiman Saha scored 104 against the West Indies in 2016.
4. Rishabh Pant scored 114 runs in the Top Test against England in 2018.
5. Rishabh Pant played an unbeaten innings of 159 runs in the Sydney Test against Australia in 2019.
6. Rishabh Pant went 100 unbeaten in the Cape Town test against South Africa in 2022.
