Indian hospital unsafe for newborns, (heartbreaking incident)

New Delhi: Newborns are missing from a government hospital in India, police have launched an investigation against an unidentified woman with the help of CCTV.

According to Indian media reports, a 20-year-old woman named Raja Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl at the Raja Mirsudar Government Hospital in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

While admitted to the hospital, a 35-year-old woman started talking to Raja Lakshmi and said that she had come to visit her relative who had given birth to a child.

During the conversation, the suspect also offered help to Raja Lakshmi. On Friday, the girl’s mother went out of the children’s ward and when she returned, she was surprised to see that her daughter was missing.

After finding the girl in the hospital, Raja Lakshmi informed her husband, the hospital staff and the police about the disappearance of the newborn.

Police checked the footage of the hospital’s CCTV cameras on the woman’s complaint, in which the woman who was offering help to Raja Laklashmi was seen leaving the hospital for two bags.

Police suspect that one of the two bags in the woman’s hand contained a newborn baby.

According to media reports, police have launched an investigation against the suspect.
