Film “Thama,” starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, has surpassed the 100 crore rupee (approximately $12 million USD) mark at the global box office in just five days. The horror-comedy reached a total worldwide collection of 110 crore rupees (approximately $13.25 million USD) by Saturday.
The movie, part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, saw a strong opening during Diwali. Despite a brief dip, its performance surged again over the weekend.
The film’s international market contribution stands at approximately $2 million USD. This highlights its significant appeal beyond domestic borders.
Domestically, “Thama” collected 10 crore rupees (approximately $1.21 million USD) on its fourth day. It then earned 13 crore rupees (approximately $1.57 million USD) on its fifth day.

By the end of five days, the total Indian collection for “Thama” was 78.60 crore rupees (approximately $9.47 million USD). The overall worldwide total at this point stood at 94.25 crore rupees (approximately $11.35 million USD).
Early Sunday figures added another 4.28 crore rupees (approximately $0.52 million USD) to its Indian earnings. Further increases are anticipated as late-night collections are tallied.
The story follows Delhi journalist Alok, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, who encounters a bear attack while trekking. He is saved by Tadaka, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna, and subsequently drawn into a world of vampires.
The film blends horror and comedy elements. It also features a romantic subplot between its lead characters.
