Indian Cricketer Saurabh Kumar Switches Team Ahead of Domestic Season

Big changes are coming for Indian cricketer Saurabh Kumar. He just announced he’s leaving Uttar Pradesh to play for Andhra Pradesh.

Saurabh has been a key player for Uttar Pradesh, taking 324 wickets in first-class cricket. He’s also scored 2374 runs. But now, he’s moving on.

In a post on Instagram, Saurabh thanked Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association for the opportunities he got. He said he’s excited to start a new chapter with Andhra Pradesh.

Saurabh has played 79 first-class matches, 39 List A games, and 33 T20s. He’s taken 324 wickets and scored 340 runs in List A matches.

Many Indian teams are in England right now. The senior men’s team is playing a 5-match Test series. India A team is also there. And the Under-19 team is touring England too.

Saurabh was part of the Punjab Kings team in the Indian Premier League. He’s been picked for the Indian national team before, but hasn’t made his debut yet.

Now, he’s looking for a fresh start with Andhra Pradesh. We’ll have to wait and see how he does.
